Our contracting division is well equipped with a pre-construction team that identifies project opportunities for our customers while using the vast knowledge of our entire operations team for input and lessons learned during our precon efforts. We also offer preconstruction services to help keep the design intent and the budget of your project intact. We participate in Hard Bid, Negotiated and Design Build delivery methods.
Design-Assist
SEAS is highly seasoned in the design-assist role. Bringing our team of experts into the schematic design phase is an area where we excel in providing creative material solutions and constructability/fabrication ideas that allow design intent to become reality. Whether it be building highly custom one-off designs or creating more affordable options to meet the budget, design assist can be both a formal and nonformal agreement style. We have the skillset to create mockups for general contractor(GC), architect and owner review as well. Every facet of the project scope is analyzed and this can be a fast track deliverable method for an owner and GC.
Private Projects
SEAS has fabricated and showcased numerous to scale mockups at our facility to provide clarity in the details and provide an avenue to showcase design details and design challenge solutions. Our preconstruction team provides clear takeoffs and scope descriptions to allow for full transparency and understanding of our sometimes complex scopes. While providing similar participation as a design-assist role, our experts can take a deep dive into the details of your project. We provide a “no compromise” approach to helping detail and budget your project.
